NZFrogs is a not-for-profit charity established in 2023

Our purpose is to

•  inspire the public to learn about native New Zealand frogs
• foster a more collegial relationship between all New Zealand frog researchers to ensure maximum use of resources (avoiding repetition of projects)
• inspire conservation passion and kaitiakitanga of New Zealand’s frogs;
• work with others in the New Zealand frog conservation and education areas;

Donations help us to maintain the website, provide public outreach at local events, and helps to fund the NZFrogs grant support research, protection, and advocacy of amphibians in New Zealand.
